What is Twilight Netball?

Twilight is a 7-a-side Netball Competition run at Hataitai Courts (outdoors) and Ākau Tangi Sports Centre (indoors). Netball Wellington Centre offers Women’s, Mixed and now Men's grades, with levels from Competitive through to Social. We maintain our fair-play rule throughout this competition and encourage all teams to show these during games. Click the Fair-Play Rule button to learn more. 

Games are 40 minutes and are a great way to maintain fitness, meet new people and foster team building within organisations. Our Mama Brown Twilight competition is open to adult teams and college teams (following the age criteria in our rules). 

This year we also have forms for umpires and individuals interested in our Twilight leagues.

TERM 1 (SUMMER)

Monday nights (In The Sun) at Hataitai Netball Courts - 9-week competition starts 10 February to 7 April ​​​​​​​- Cost $TBC

Wednesday nights at Ākau Tangi Sports Centre - 9-week competition starts 12 February to 9 April – Cost $TBC

Thursday nights at Ākau Tangi Sports Centre -10-week competition starts 13 February to 10 April – Cost $TBC

Plus $15 CASH ONLY per team, per game, to be collected prior to the game each week as an Umpire Contribution.​​​​

TERM 2 (AUTUMN)

Wednesday nights at Ākau Tangi Sports Centre - 9-week competition starts 30 April to 25 June (NO GAMES Wed 18 June - Premier Promotion/Relegation) - Cost $TBC

Thursday nights at Ākau Tangi Sports Centre - 9-week competition starts 1 May to 26 June – Cost $TBC

Plus $15 CASH ONLY per team, per game, to be collected prior to the game each week as an Umpire Contribution.

TERM 3 (WINTER)

Wednesday nights at Ākau Tangi Sports Centre - 10-week competition starts 16 July to 17 September – Cost $TBC

Thursday nights at Ākau Tangi Sports Centre - 10-week competition starts 17 July to 18 September – Cost $TBC
