Mama Brown Intermediate Comp Information & Rules
Our Mama Brown Intermediate Comp is organised with an emphasis on providing an opportunity for young players to enjoy netball in the off-season. The Netball Wellington Centre is a keen advocate of fair play and enjoyment through participation and would appreciate if teams could please remember to adopt fair play practices in their games
Games are 40 minutes and are a great way to maintain fitness and build on skills for the upcoming season.
Game times for our Intermediate Comp are 4.00pm and 4.50pm.
Mixed, all-female and all-male teams welcome.
Term 1 incorporates a grade specially for those moving from 6-a-side to 7-a-side netball. Provides a gentle introduction to help them on their merry way ahead of trials for the winter season.
Leagues on offer in 2025 are:
TERM 1 (SUMMER)
Wednesday or Thursday after school at the Ākau Tangi Sports Centre – 6-7-week competition starts 19/20 February to 2/3 April – cost $TBC
Plus $10 CASH ONLY per team, per game, to be collected prior to the game each week as an Umpire Contribution ($60 bulk season).
Registrations open January 2025
Registrations will close when max capacity reached.
TERM 4 (SPRING)
Wednesday or Thursday after school at the Ākau Tangi Sports Centre – 6-7-week competition starts 15/16 October to 26/27 November - cost $TBC
Plus $10 CASH ONLY per team, per game, to be collected prior to the game each week as an Umpire Contribution ($60 bulk season).
Registrations open September 2025
