Cost:
All online workshops are FREE.
In person fees indicated in table below.
*Hutt Valley fee cap $10 (covers 4 in-person sessions)
** Match entry included
Sessions open to coaches, managers and umpires of any age, experience or sport code near & far.
We aim to guide you on your coach journey and gain fresh ideas.
Timing: start of season (February-July) and/or end of season (October-November).
Cost: No cost for online workshops. In-person may come with small fee.
Game Analysis coinciding with live match play includes ticket cost.
Duration: 2.5 hours maximum allowing for healthy discussion.
Facilitiators: A variety of guests - fantastic opportunity to learn & connect with others.
Prior experience: not essential. Pick and choose topics of interest as suits your learning needs.
NNZ Coaching Framework Community Coach Award Level 1&2
Topic names may alter slightly to aid promotion.
Attendees credited once workshop attended + compulsory online component complete.
Formal (CCA accredited) and informal (interest-focused) learning opportunities on offer.

Nuku Ora
Nuku Ora is proud to announce that Robert Lubbe author of the book De-escalation will be facilitating two workshops for the sports sector to help them de-escalate both on-field and off field situations. Robert has over 30 years' experience in the military, personal protection and health, safety and wellbeing across public healthcare, construction and production industries.
Robert will share simple, effective strategies from his book to recognise early warning signs, understand behaviour under stress, and confidently de-escalate challenging situations both on and off the field.

FREE futureFERNS workshops for coaches of Year 1-8 players
Each Satellite arranges FREE workshops located conveniently for their associated member coaches to attend. By attending, coaches gain access to resources which include pre-planned training sessions along with warm-up, cool-down and other information specific to their appropriate junior modified game. In addition those attending receive guidance on how to interpret the resource, deliver a quality session and tips for instructing their particular age group. Whether new to netball, returning after some time away from the sport, coaxed from the sideline to help coach or seeking a refresher before the season starts - it's highly recommended to attend so as to boost your confidence and be reassured you're well-supported in your coaching role.
