Our College, Intermediate and Year 6 Comps are a great way to develop your confidence as an advanced Kiwi Whistler, progress towards your Introductory Badge and beyond and keep up your skills and fitness in the off-season while making yourself a little pocket-money!

Umpires receive mentoring from one of our experienced NWC Staff members will observe your games, provide feedback from week to week, consult with you about your rule interpretation and support you throughout your College, Intermediate and/or Year 6 Comp experience.  This is a valuable development opportunity therefore preference will be given to advanced Kiwi Whistler or Introductory Badge umpires wishing to extend their knowledge and practical experience.

Umpires receive an umpire contribution of $10 per game provided by the teams that you will be umpiring.

It is important to therefore remember to take your umpiring responsiblities seriously including:

• come appropriately-dressed: no bare feet, jandals, sandals, chucks, flats or boots - sports shoes only
  
• always bring your own whistle each week
  
• arrive 10 minutes in advance of your first game
  
• always remain professional and fair when performing your umpire duties

Umpires are allocated to games by the Centre for all games.

Umpire draws will be visible via our Netball Wellington Centre website prior to the game each week.
Umpires will be updated of changes via Sporty push notification or email once finalised.
